CONGRATULATIONS

The 2023 Diocesan Sports Trials have commenced and we have a number of St Brigid's students nominated. Basketball trials were held last Monday and we would like to congratulate Bailey C and Rafael M for their selection as part of the Wollongong representative team to attend the Mackillop trials hosted at Beaton Park Snakepit on Friday 24 February 2023. We wish them both very well.

CDF DIOCESAN SPORTS AWARDS

Congratulations to Cameron B and Grace D who will attend the CDF Diocesan Sports Awards to be acknowledged for their outstanding contribution to sport and achievements in our Diocese. Well done Cameron & Grace.

RUGBY 7'S/TOUCH RUGBY GALA DAY

On Wednesday 9 November 2022, a number of St Brigid's students (Years 3-6) both boys and girls were invited by NSW Rugby to participate in a Rugby 7's/Touch Rugby Gala day (Illawarra Zone) held at Shamrock's Rugby grounds in Woonona. 

The students had a truly wonderful experience. They had the opportunity to display their newly developed skills which they recently acquired during the Rugby Sports clinic which ran throughout Term 3 at St Brigid's.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Matt Duggan who generously offered his expertise and time to train our students & also managed the St Brigid's teams on the day. We would also like to thank Tony Gorgijovski for his assistance on the day.
