NEWS FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
VINNIES WINTER APPEAL
What a great day we had today, raising money for the crucial work of our local St Vincent de Paul conference. A huge thank you to the Year 2 parents and students who baked delicious cupcakes to sell; to Caterina and the parents who helped organise the scrumptious pizza lunch; to the many families who sent in the 3800 containers and to the Year 6 students who counted and sorted the containers. Another wonderful St Brigid's effort to support the most vulnerable in our local community. Thank you so much for your generosity.
- Acting Principal - Ms McMahon / Mrs Benoit
- Acting Assistant Principal - Mrs O'Donnell

We keep Mrs Benoit in our prayers, hoping that she will be feeling healthy and strong again soon.

Congratulations to the students who representated St Brigid's at the CCC held at Willandra Cross Country Course in Tapitallee (near Nowra). Each student tried their very hardest on a challenging course.
A special mention to Rio M (Year 6) who has made it through to the next round. This is a wonderful achievement for Rio and St Brigid's.
PIE DRIVE
Students are asked to bring a disposable bag from home for the pies to go in. Pies can be collected from 2:30 – 3:15 pm THIS coming Friday, 2 June 2023. Thank you to Rebecca Armstrong for coordinating this P&F fundraising initiative.
Please continue to fill in the reporting google form if your child has even the mildest of respiratory symptoms or has tested Positive for COVID-19.
The information contained in this form gives me very good data about prevailing illness in the school which I can communicate to parents to help us all work together to ensure the health and safety of our community.
This google form can be found on the St Brigid’s website, as a link in the Brigid Bulletin and by clicking the link in the COMPASS news-feed.
Please complete it any day or time of the week, including weekends. The information will automatically come to Ms Uroda and Mrs Benoit.
