  NEW UNIFORM SUPPLIER IN 2024

Over a year ago, Lowes informed us that they no longer will be supplying our Sport Uniform due to the material not being available. In the contractual agreement Lowes need to do everything within reason to meet the school’s needs. Given the volume of complaints from parents regarding supply issues with Lowes over many years, we entered a period of discernment and decided to put the uniform contract to tender with the possibility of sourcing a new supplier.
The new  uniform contract to was offered to Poppets Direct. They are a local 100% Australian owned family company founded in theIllawarra in 1973.
Given we have a new supplier, the uniform committee reviewed the current uniforms with the aim of streamlining the uniform, making it more comfortable and reducing the number of uniform items. Poppets is currently working on this for us and will have the designs to us shortly.
At the commencement of Term 1, 2024 the new St Brigid’s sports uniform will be available from Poppets Direct for all St Brigid’s students. Our 2024 Kindergarten cohort will start at St Brigid’s in the new uniform (sports and summer) purchased from Poppets. The remainder of the School (Year 1 - 6) will transition into the new uniform over a period of 2 years.
The items that will be retained are the :
  • Green cardigan
  • Green pullover
  • Green outdoor jacket
  • The grey ankle socks (for boys and girls)

Lowes has agreed to reduce the RRP of all logo garments at 40% off the RRP until the end term of contract. This sale is available for families now. Please see flyer below.

Canteen
It would be great to have the Canteen up and running again. In order for this to happen, volunteers are needed each Thursday afternoon or Friday. A decision will be made at the beginning of each week as to whether or not the canteen will open on the Friday based on if all volunteer spots have been filled. If you are able to help out and put a smile on our children’s faces, please sign up here. If you are able to organise a special food day, please email pandfsbgdowwcatholiceduuu.au
