PROJECT COMPASSION LAUNCH

On Tuesday, Mrs Checkley (REC) was accompanied by our Faith and School Representative Council (SRC) leaders, Simon C and Briella, as they attended the Project Compassion launch at John Therry Catholic High School. A special thanks to Briella's grandma, Wanda, who attended this event and for driving them to and from the venue.

We invite all families to partner with us by providing support and donations to help build futures of hope for people most in need around the world.

Further information of how your family can support Project Compassion over the Lenten season will be shared over the coming weeks.

PROJECT COMPASSION THEME FOR 2024

This year, the theme For All Future Generations is inspired by the story of the burning bush in the book of Exodus (Exodus 3:1–20).

In this story, God tells Moses that he has heard the cry of the people. God responds to things not being fair and chooses Moses to speak to Pharaoh.

Though Moses is afraid, God promises to be with him. As God called Moses, so now God calls us to work for all future generations.

For over 60 years, Caritas Australia has worked hand in hand with the most marginalised and remote communities in Australia and overseas to confront the challenges of poverty.

Over the course of this term we will hear the stories of Ranita, Leaia and Memory.
