BOOK WEEK 2024

St Brigid's will be celebrating Book Week from Monday 19th August - Friday 23rd August 2024. This years theme is 'Reading is Magic'.
     
The Book Week committee have organised a number of activities throughout Book Week to immerse students in the celebration and enjoyment of children's books.
An outline of activities include:
MONDAY 19 August 2024

Welcome to Book Week launch.

Children will participate in Book Week rotations focusing on the selected 2024 Book Week books.

TUESDAY 20 August 2024

Fairy Visits from classroom teachers.

Outdoor reading sessions using 2024 Book Week books.

WEDNESDAY 21 August 2004

Book Week craft activities in classrooms.

THURSDAY 22 August 2024

PARENTS INVITED

9:15am: Book Week Parade. Students are to come dressed in a 'Reading is Magic' inspired costume.

10:00am: Magic Tricks display.

10:30am: Street Library unveiling.

   

ATHLETICS

Last term we held our annual Athletics Carnival at Beaton Park. It was a beautiful sunny day that allowed us to participate in a full carnival including both track and field events. The students participated in the events with enthusiasm and great determination.

We thank the members of the CEDoW Governance, Assurance and Risk team who supported the teachers as officials on the day. We are very grateful for your support.
