SPORTING PATHWAYS
Unfortunately, the Diocesan Cross Country Carnival was cancelled due to wet weather and unsafe ground conditions. Despite this, I want to thank the entire St Brigid’s Cross Country team for their dedication and commitment to training, including giving up some of their lunch breaks in preparation.
In place of the carnival, Selection Trials were held at the Criterium Track in Unanderra — a challenging course made up entirely of road running. Well done to all the students who took part. A special congratulations to Ted F, who placed 4th and has qualified to represent the Diocese of Wollongong at the NSW Cross Country Championships. We look forward to hearing all about his experience!
