ST BRIGID'S REMOTE LEARNING SITE
We hope that the development of the St Brigid's Remote Learning Google Site has supported students and families during online remote learning.

All class learning plans will continue to be uploaded to the site each week allowing students to view the overview of their learning for that particular week. All specific tasks, instructions and resources will be uploaded to the student's digital platforms at 5pm the day prior to the scheduled learning. We remind students to make sure they are completing as many tasks as possible and submitting their compulsory tasks (those highlighted yellow).

Please remember that all students working remotely do need to complete the daily Online Check-In form that can be found on the Google Site (under the CLASS WORK tab).

If you have any photos of your child/ren working remotely, and would like to share them, please email them to the office and we will upload as many as possible to the Google Site. This will allow children to see the familiar faces of their friends during this time of remote learning.
ONLINE READERS

From Monday all child/ren from Kinder to Year 4 will have access to a new resource that will support reading at home during remote learning. This app is the PM eCollection.

Each week your child's class teacher will be uploading a selection of books for your child/ren to read at home as part of their silent reading. These books are meant to be easy texts that focus on reading familiar books to those at school.

We are asking that all families download the app onto student devices in preparation for Monday. Your child/ren will then be sent their individual login details from their teacher allowing them to access their books via the app.

I have attached a set of parent instructions for you to support the downloading of the app. Come Monday morning the student will then be able to have access to readers online.

We look forward to using this wonderful reading resource over the coming weeks to support home reading at home.
