HOME READERS - HOLIDAY READING

All students in Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 have access to home readers via the PM eCollection app. 

 

Each week teachers upload appropriately leveled books for students to read as part of their nightly home reading.

 

We encourage all students to continue accessing this app during the holidays to engage in their reading.

  

ATHLETE'S FOOT

 

On Tuesday Piper, Robbie and myself were very generously gifted with a $240 donation for St Brigid's from Athlete's Foot Wollongong. Cameron and his team came to present the money our St Brigid's families had raised from purchasing shoes at Athlete's Foot.

 

We thank Athlete's Foot for their continued support. If you do purchase any footwear from Athlete's Foot, St Brigid's recieve $5 per shoe purchase.

 

We look forward to working with the Athlete's Foot team later in the year as they run our shoe lace tying lessons.

 

TERM 3 PLAYGROUNDS

During Term 3 we will continue to use Wiseman's Park Oval as our play space during Recess and Lunch. Playing over at the oval supports the implementation of our Phase 3 COVID-19 plan alterations.

 

At lunch we will be introducing the added element of 'passive play' that will allow students to play with games supplied by the school. The passive play games will be used under the new amenities block. These passive play games will be in addition to the playground equipment that is currently being supplied for each class to use during lunch play.
