CLEAN UP SCHOOLS DAY

Clean Up School's Day inspires and empowers us to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment. The focus for St Brigid's this year was cleaning up rubbish, weeding and tidying garden beds. Thank you to the students and teachers who spent 20 minutes after recess engaged in this community activity.

OUTGOING P&F

Words cannot express my gratitude to David Macdonald, outgoing President, and Anthony Petre, outgoing Vice president, on the successful completion of a 3 Year term of service to the school through the P&F Association. Their committment to collaboratvely building a sense of unity and assisting in fostering a faith and learning community has led to 'school spirit' in the fullest sense.

TRASH FREE TUESDAY

Thank you to Mrs Sammut, Mrs Arthur Worsop and the SRC for kicking off this initiative last week. The SRC will continue to monitor the trash free success of each class. See News from the Assistant Principal for more information.

NATIONAL RIDE 2 SCHOOL DAY

Join more than 350,000 students across the nation who will ride, scoot and skate to school on Friday 19 March 2021.

National Ride2School Day is held around Australia in March every year. It provides an opportunity for students and teachers to try riding, skating or scooting to school as well as celebrating the regular walkers and riders.

Enrolments packs can be collected from the St Brigid's School Office or downloaded from our website.

Applications must be submitted by Tuesday 29 March 2021. Appointment times for interviews in early Term 2 will be given upon submission of the application form and documentation.

Thank you to the P&F Fundraising and Social Committee who met this week to start planning some COVID-19 safe events for 2021. Mark the 6 August 2021 in your dairy for an offsite Cocktail Dinner Party. Other proposed events are featured in the P&F section of this Brigid Bulletin.

RESPIRATORY ILLNESS PROCEDURES - GOOGLE FORM

This google form can be found on the St Brigid’s website, as a link in the Brigid Bulletin and by clicking the link in the COMPASS news-feed.

Students and staff who have undergone testing but HAVE NOT been directed to self-isolate can return to school when: they have received a negative test result AND are not displaying symptoms of illness.

PARENT FORM

Please complete it any day or time of the week, including weekends. The information will automatically come to Ms Uroda and Mrs Sammut.
