SOUTH COAST REGION SWIM CARNIVAL
St Brigid's was represented by a wonderful team of students at the carnival last Monday. The organisation of the day was different due to COVID-19 and every student displayed respectful, responsible and safe behaviour all day, they were all excellent ambassadors for our school from Year 2 - Year 6!

School spirit was high and the support that the students displayed was admirable, as was their friendly competitiveness and interactions with their teacher and officials.

Congratulations to the whole team including: David M, Enzo H-D, Zara H, Bailey C, Phillipa L, Rafael M, Rosie S, Tayah A, Cameron B, Grace D, Georgia Ferri, Audrey G, Abby H, Malachy H, Mason M, Luke S, Edwina J, Addison W.
A big congratulations to Cameron B, Georgia F, Tayah A and Audrey G for being selected to compete in the CEDoW Swimming Selection Trials next Monday.
A special mention goes to Cameron Browne who was named the 11 Years Boys Champion. Cameron competed in every race for his age group and won most of his events. Well done Cameron!

ST GEORGE/ILLAWARRA DRAGONS - INSPIRE~RESPECT PROGRAM
On Wednesday 3 March 2021, Stages 2 and 3 were able to engage in some positive community interaction with the visit from some representatives from the Dragons. A group of trainers and players discussed how we can model and display respect for each other in varying environments. The students played some team games and everyone came away with a smile and some new leanings for how we can apply a common language to respect. "Throw the ball how you want to receive it" was an interesting analogy. Mrs Roche and Mrs Tasker had an early Christmas present with a special photo with the crew!!

DIOCESAN GALA DAYS
Diocesan Gala Days are back in action for 2021 and we are looking forward to providing opportunities for students in Grades 3 - 6 in a variety of team sports. An expression of interest and preferences form will be sent home via Compass next week. We need this to be completed so we can begin preparations and organisation for each Gala event.
