ATHLETICS CARNIVAL - 16 JUNE 2021
We are looking forward to our first athletics carnival for K-6 in two years - very exciting for our Kinder and Year 1 students! The carnival will consist of tabloid events, sprint events, as well as 200 and 800 metre races for ages 8 - 13 years.
The carnival will run from 9:00am – 12:00noon for all tabloid and sprint events. Please note that all 200m and 800m events will be run from 8:00am this year and it is the responsibility of parents to have students who have nominated to participate in these events at the carnival ready to go at 8:00am. This is due to the fact we only have the use of Beaton Park until 12noon.
Students who are NOT competing in the 200m and 800m events will need to be taken directly to Beaton Park. Ms Uroda will be on duty from 8:30am for this drop off. At the conclusion of the carnival, all students will walk back to school with their classroom teacher.
Students wear their sports uniform. They are invited to wear a coloured plain shirt in their house colour. The students also need to bring warm clothing, a hat, sunscreen and enough food and drink for the day.
