Meditation is a universal spiritual wisdom and a practice found at the core of all the great religious traditions, particularly Benedictine spirituality, which is the charism of our school.  It leads us from mind to heart and to the integration of these two centres of human being.

The two doves on a chalice is the WCCM's symbol. It is a universal expression of the union of contemplation and action. A very ancient text describes them as 'two sweet friends' and the same idea is found in the story of Martha and Mary in the Gospel. Meditation in daily life is the heart of the WCCM Community: the experience of Being as the foundation of all Action.

The students and staff are building their capacity for silence and stillness in the simplicity of this practice, as they meditate with the word maranatha.
