As always, the sporting year in school begins with swimming. A big thank you for your understanding and flexibility with the need to tailor our swimming event to be COVID-19 smart this year. The students have been very impressive with adapting to these changes as well.

 

The trials will be held next Tuesday 15 February 2022 and we wish all of the competitors good luck and thank the parent volunteers in advance.

 

  

Term 1 is also a busy time for our students who are trialling to represent the Diocese of Wollongong in a variety of sports. First up for St Brigid's students were the basketball trials.

Bailey C and Tully D were both nominated to trial for the Diocesan team. Both students did extremely well in a tough field. A big congratulations to Tully D on her selection for the girls basketball 2022 team! We will follow her journey at diocesan level throughout the year. 

 

Cricket, Football (soccer), Rugby League, Netball and Hockey will be up next.
